"Going Green" Open House

I.B.E.W. Local 35 and Local 90 hosted an Open House on May 28, 2009 at Local 90's Training Facility. The topic was "Going Green".

It was attended by representatives from the Connecticut I.B.E.W. Locals and I.V.P. Frank Caroll, I.R. Brian Maher, and I.R. Richard Panagrossi along with many local politicians.

The purpose was to show members of the legislature what the Connecticut I.B.E.W. Locals are doing to move toward alternative energy sources.

IBEW Local 35 Retirees Club

The Retirees Club has a new meeting place. It is Hose Company #3 on Hanmer Street in East Hartford. Lunch is served at the meeting.

The meetings will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. on the following dates:

June 10, 2009	October 14, 2009
July 8, 2009	November 11, 2009
August 12, 2009	December 9, 2009
September 9, 2009

Please be advised that the Per Capita Dues will be increased $ 1.00 per month effective January 1, 2010. Please check the dues schedule in the "Members Only" section before sending in your quarterly dues payment.
